Today, I am excited to introduce the legendary Wendy Stacey, who was my former tutor and now dear friend and mentor. As always, whatever she has to say is full of insight, wrapped in warmth and humour😀💖🪄 Wendy shares her journey into astrology, which began at age 19 when she randomly found an astrologer’s listing and decided to pursue it, then her relocation to London. Wendy describes her “typical” working week, which involves consultancy, research on astrological topics, admin, as well as her ongoing research on the Mayo syllabus, introvert/extrovert topics from the 1970s and 1980s, and childbirth. Importantly, she shares her excitement for the upcoming year and emphasizes the importance of learning and adaptation.
Wendy is the principal of the Mayo School, currently the chair of the Astrological Association, and tutor on the MA Cultural Astronomy and Astrology programme at the University of Wales. She is a writer, researcher, presenter, event organiser but her clients and students remain at the heart of her love for astrology as a consultant and educator. She also hosts the very popular fortnightly webinar “The Current Climate” which has been running since 2020. In 2014 Wendy received the Charles Harvey award for ‘Exceptional Service to Astrology’. She has written articles and books including, Consulting With Astrology: A Quick Guide to Building Your Practice and Profile (2012), Uranus Square Pluto: New Perspectives on the Current Planetary Line Up in Mundane Astrology (2012). Her book on Unaspected Planets is due for release very soon. In 2014 Wendy was the recipient of the UK’s Charles Harvey award for “Exceptional Service to Astrology”.
