Today I am delighted to welcome R. Hakan Kırkoğlu from Turkey, a leading international astrologer, consultant, teacher and writer. In our expansive conversation Hakan shares the story of his astrological path, reflecting on some of the mentors who inspired him. He emphasizes the value of slow, intentional learning, highlighting the importance of time and experience. Hakan’s achievements are incredible, so here are just a few of the main ones: he was key in establishing the Astrological Association in Turkey (Astrobil) in 2000, he runs the internationally recognized and ISAR affiliated Wisdom of Sky Astrology School. He is the author of the first Turkish psychological astrology book in 1991 (Astroloji Zamanları) and is a prize winner of Faculty of Astrological Studies in 1997 gaining his Diploma with the Cordelia Mansall Veritas Award. Hakan has lectured at numerous international conferences in the UK, USA, Australia, Poland and Serbia, and has been both a mundane astrology coordinator and core speaker at UAC. Along with personal and corporate consultations, he writes mundane and financial astrology articles in international journals. He regularly gives lectures, organizes seminars and create astrological events.
